Welcome to Annunciation B.V.M. School
in Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Annunciation B.V.M. School has served the children of the parish since it was founded in 1927. Our school, which is located within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, currently educates students ranging from Pre-K 3 through grade 8. We provide a well-rounded educational experience that addresses each student's spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical needs. We foster a nurturing environment in which all students feel physically safe and emotionally secure. We believe that we are entrusted with the sacred responsibility of being co-educators with the parents. As a faith community who follows the teachings of Jesus, Annunciation BVM warmly welcomes people of all cultures to join us in our school environment. We invite you to visit our school website at http://www.abvmhavertown.com

Mission Statement

Annunciation B.V.M. School is committed to the education of the whole child in an atmosphere where the teachings of Jesus are integrated with everyday life. This commitment is rooted in a tradition characterized by family values, parental involvement and service opportunities which reflect the influence of the Sisters of Mercy. These qualities contribute to a welcoming spirit and strong sense of community within the school and parish.

Along with a challenging academic program, the faculty and staff of Annunciation B.V.M. create a child-centered environment, and respond to the individual needs of students. Through extra-curricular activities, service, and educational enrichment opportunities, each child is challenged to achieve his/her personal best.

The school expects the practice of our faith in the homes of our students and their regular participation at weekly mass.

Annunciation BVM is a welcoming place where faculty, children, and parents come together to grow, to learn, to listen, and to love.
